Started out in the ’70’s as a muscle car/drag racer…1955 Chevy Bel Air with a 1967 Corvette L-71 427. Took the 427, built it up and installed in a 1967 Chevelle track car. Then went to work at a small indy shop outside Boston and worked on/drove everything from MG’s, Triumph, Mercedes, E-type Jags, to various Porches – the sports car bug hit, and muscle cars receded into the rear view mirror. Over a thirty year Navy career had a couple of fun cars including a 1970 Triumph GT6+ and a 1979 VW Scirocco, but didn’t jump into Porsche until I retired from active duty. Now Ingrid has her baby, which she is nice enough to share (a beauty of a Boxster S Special Edition, with a Tiptronic). (I am guilty of selling the 911 and buying a Jaguar XKR)…
