The league is a series of 5 consecutive mid-week evening events that occur at the same day & time each week. We race at the Maine Indoor Karting facility in Scarborough, ME. The format is two separate 8 minute races per evening - plenty of driving time. Trust us, you'll be tired when it's over! We traditionally have gone out after the races for "debriefing" and pizza! |

Our next League begins Wednesday, January 31st, 2007
Details:
- Anyone at least 14 years old who wants to join the league is welcome. Participants must obtain an MIK License for which simply requires showing a drivers license, signing a waiver, and paying a one-time $20 fee - this can be done right before the first event. At this point there's room for 16 on each run, and if we don't fill that quota, "walk-ons" may be a possibility for people who can't commit to the full league time (the fee per race is $18). It's also likely that after the first race there may be nights when one of the "regulars" can't attend.
- The cost per driver is discounted at $140 for the series as a one-time charge. This buys you entrance to 10 races (normal rates are $18/event), but you don't get refunded for any races that you miss. On the other hand, you don't lose your runs and are welcome to use your race credits for other events or sessions.
- MIK reserves the right to add "walk-ons" to fill the void if less than 8 racers are present.
- We will be given full transponder printouts of our lap times within our session, broken down by individuals.
- MIK will also be averaging our league times and comparing them to the other leagues. There may be an Enduro Race for the top two fastest racers of each league team at the end of the league season!
