Event Update

DER PCA is hosting the 2005 Zone 1 Concours/Rally. Co-chairs of the event are Steve & Kyle Atwell and Doug and Terri Omatick. However, in order to make this event successful it requires the help of many more of our members. At this point, we are still trying to nail down dates, hotel and concours location. We are looking at late May and early June and hope to hold the Concours at Fort Williams but we are still working to secure this location.

As noted above, we are looking for volunteers. We are looking for volunteers to help coordinate individual activities leading up to the event as well as throughout the weekend including:

• Concours
• Rally
• Publicity
• Sponsorship/Door Prizes
• Hotel/Banquet
• Flyers
• Volunteer Coordinator
• Web Coordinator

Remember, we need volunteers to do everything from helping out the day of the event to planning a portion of the weekend.

If you have any questions regarding the event or activities please don’t hesitate to ask. Also, consider attending this year’s Zone 1 Concours/Rally May 14-16 in Saratoga Springs, NY. We are hoping to have a good contingent from DER in attendance. Come to the Spring Banquet to learn more about this year’s event.

Please contact either the Atwells or Omaticks if you are interested in volunteering or have any questions or attend our 2005 Zone 1 Concours/Rally Planning Session and Volunteer Pot Luck at Orthopaedic Associates in Portland on April 15 at 7pm.
